Sticky Bananas

First impression:

Small little flattened, dry yellowish blob. No oily surface texture, just dry. I mean, it’s fine.

Fragrance:

Big banana smell as soon as the lid came off. Pure fresh flower terpenoids and just a hint of gas. My entire nose fills with the light and fresh fragrance but only briefly. It dissipates quickly but makes me want to deeply inhale again. Yum.

Flavor:

Light and fruity flavor with a lingering banana taste at the finish. Very delicate and light on the pallet. Some intense gassy or clove flavors appeared on my second, larger hit. Complex candy flavor that leans toward the fresh fruit side of the spectrum but not citrus, more melon or stone fruit or banana flavors come through. Dry and subtle.

Burn or meltability:

I’m using a Dip Devices Little Dipper and I’m dabbing straight from the jar. This cold pressed live rosin melts quickly and fully and I enjoyed a nice lower heat setting to get full flavor. Leaves a clean shiny spot on the rest of the wax when I’m through. I like that.

Experience:

My eyelids hare getting heavier and a balanced head to body high is coming on. The music is interesting and my snack is very flavorful so I’m digging the enhanced sensual experiences. I feel this strain encourages creativity and its a good way to start my day. Clear headed and relaxed, but not couch locked. The lingering flavor and aroma connects me to the plant even though I’ve never had Sticky Bananas before, its like I smoked fresh flower. A really pleasant high.

Conclusion:

I swear I was dozing in a hammock hung between two banana trees beachside for a moment after inhaling this delicate and delicious floral banana flavored lump of goodness. The potency is good and not too strong. There’s an emphasis on balance between the flavor and the potency of effects on the mind and to the body. A nuanced balanced trifecta.
